Part of my "Magpie Season" collection, this textile artwork is a tribute to the birds that fill our mornings with their distinctive, warbling song and keep us company in the garden, ever watchful for a turned-up worm.
Through hand-dyed fabrics, intricate piecework, and expressive quilting, this artwork brings movement and texture to life—just like a magpie soaring through an open sky.
