In Collaboration with Conscious Candle

Have you seen our collaboration with local candlemaker Conscious Candle? It was a real treat to be allowed to create a range of illustrations for the packaging of their new Aromatherapy range, incorporating essential oils. 

I appreciated working with a local company, and being able to collaborate face to face. Wayne, the owner, and Amy, the graphic designer, came to view some of my artworks and illustrations in person, giving feedback on the components they liked the most. With that feedback, I created a range of digitally collaged illustrations  that incorporate sections of stitched textile artworks, foliage-inspired paper cuttings, and watercolour-and-pencil illustrations.

I’m so excited by how Amy worked her magic on these to produce the stunning packaging. One of the perks of collaborating with a local company, is that I regularly come across the range in shops that support local businesses - and it’s a thrill every time again.
