Draw: Eucalyptus Colouring Page
I love the current trend in adult colouring books. Colouring-in can be so relaxing, even if some question the creative value of it. I’ve resisted the urge to purchase any for myself, as I haven’t been bored any time lately, but thought it would be fun to try my hand at drawing my own adult colouring page.
Ever since Jason’s birth, I have had so much time to sit and admire the gum leaves moving in the breeze outside our living room (while feeding and snuggling). It’s a view that never fails to provide pleasure – I far prefer it to the city views that lie beyond! Every day I think “there are more quilts out there than I will ever get around to making in my lifetime”. I have a few small eucalyptus quilts in progress right now, but other than that, there are many non-eucalyptus artworks on the horizon for the next while. So I thought I’d scratch that creative itch in the form of a colouring page instead.
