I’m rather excited that ‘Taking It All In 1′ has been accepted into Toyota’s ‘For We Are Young and Free’ exhibition at the Toyota Community Spirit Gallery in Melbourne. The exhibition will open 8 August and runs till 26 October. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the opening, but I’d love to hear from anyone who visits the exhibition during that time!

Toyota Community Spirit Gallery (TCSG) is a community based project located in Toyota Australia’s Corporate Headquarters in Port Melbourne (155 Bertie St).

In 2012, Toyota Community Spirit Gallery is seeking to further expand and strengthen its support for artists and the local community by mounting a project that highlights the broad diversity of arts practice in Australia and invites submissions from artists living with or without disability or social or cultural disadvantage. The exhibition will be developed around a theme of the various selected artist’s diverse perspectives on contemporary Australian life, under the title; For we are Young and Free.
